Przed siedmiuset laty, w samym \u015brodku \u015bredniowiecza, gdy puszcze porasta\u0142y wi\u0119ksz\u0105 cz\u0119\u015b\u0107 Wielkopolski, Benedyktyni z Lubinia<\/strong> na zachodnie jej rubie\u017ce sprowadzili osadnik\u00f3w, by ci w\u015br\u00f3d prastarej buczyny i bor\u00f3w za\u0142o\u017cyli osad\u0119 i zacz\u0119li uprawia\u0107 ziemi\u0119. Hardy i pracowity lud szybko odwdzi\u0119czy\u0142 si\u0119 dobrodziejom karczuj\u0105c knieje i buduj\u0105c domostwa. Tak powsta\u0142a wie\u015b, kt\u00f3r\u0105 by\u0107 mo\u017ce od wygl\u0105du jej mieszka\u0144c\u00f3w nazwano W\u0105sowo<\/strong>.<\/p>

Niespe\u0142na sto lat p\u00f3\u017aniej dobra ziemskie nale\u017ca\u0142y ju\u017c do rycerza Paw\u0142a z Niegolewa<\/strong>, cz\u0142onka prastarego, wielce zas\u0142u\u017conego wielkopolskiego rodu. Przez nast\u0119pne stulecia maj\u0105tek W\u0105sowo przechodzi\u0142 przez r\u0119ce wielu szlacheckich wielkopolskich rodzin: Rogowskich, Zakrzewskich czy Raczy\u0144skich.<\/p>

W 1781 r. kolejnym w\u0142a\u015bcicielem maj\u0105tku sta\u0142 si\u0119 Sylwester Sczaniecki<\/strong>, starosta \u015bredzki i pose\u0142 na sejm Rzeczypospolitej Obojga Narod\u00f3w. W latach 1781 \u2013 1786 wzni\u00f3s\u0142 on w W\u0105sowie barokowo-klasycystyczny pa\u0142ac, siedzib\u0119 rodow\u0105 Sczanieckich<\/strong>. Dziejowe zawirowania spowodowa\u0142y zubo\u017cenie wielu polskich rod\u00f3w, w tym r\u00f3wnie\u017c Sczanieckich. Podupad\u0142y maj\u0105tek W\u0105sowo naby\u0142 w 1860 r. na skutek obowi\u0105zkowego wykupu kupiec z Tucholi \u2013 Ludwik Lewinka<\/strong>, a nast\u0119pnie osiem lat p\u00f3\u017aniej odsprzeda\u0142 go berli\u0144skiemu bankierowi Richardowi von Hardt<\/strong>. Mimo istnienia w nabytej maj\u0119tno\u015bci obszernego pa\u0142acu wybudowanego przed 90 laty przez Sylwestra Sczanieckiego<\/strong>, nowy w\u0142a\u015bciciel wychowany by\u0107 mo\u017ce na romantycznych legendach \u015bredniowiecza wzni\u00f3s\u0142 w latach 1870-72 okaza\u0142\u0105 budowl\u0119 nawi\u0105zuj\u0105c\u0105 stylem do zamk\u00f3w z tej epoki. Projektantem pa\u0142acu by\u0142 znany berli\u0144ski architekt \u2013 Gustaw Erdmann<\/strong>. Po \u015bmierci Richarda w 1898 r. (pochowany w parku w\u0105sowskim) majorat utworzony z W\u0105sowa oraz przynale\u017cnych do niego maj\u0105tk\u00f3w: Chraplewa i G\u0142upo\u0144 odziedziczy\u0142 jego syn Friedrich Wilhelm von Hardt<\/strong> (1855-1938). Na kr\u00f3tko przed 1900 r. na wie\u015b\u0107 o planowanej w W\u0105sowie wizycie cesarza Wilhelma II \u00f3wczesny gospodarz rozbudowa\u0142 rezydencj\u0119. Dobudowano skrzyd\u0142o, okaza\u0142e wej\u015bcie i przebudowano wie\u017c\u0119 tworz\u0105c wizerunek neogotyckiego zamku pe\u0142nego tajemnic i legend. Kolejnym w\u0142a\u015bcicielem pa\u0142acu sta\u0142 si\u0119 po \u015bmierci Friedricha Wilhelma w 1938 r. jego najstarszy syn Richard von Hardt<\/strong> (1882-1945), kt\u00f3ry zgin\u0105\u0142 w W\u0105sowie podczas przemarszu wojsk sowieckich. Od 1995 roku Pa\u0142ac w W\u0105sowie<\/strong> znajduje si\u0119 w r\u0119kach prywatnych. Zosta\u0142 pieczo\u0142owicie odrestaurowany i zamieniony na centrum hotelowo-restauracyjne.<\/p>

19 lutego 2011 r. w Pa\u0142acu Hardta wybuch\u0142 po\u017car<\/strong>, kt\u00f3ry zniszczy\u0142 znaczn\u0105 cz\u0119\u015b\u0107 budynku. Pomimo wielu przeszk\u00f3d, dzi\u0119ki zaanga\u017cowaniu w\u0142a\u015bcicieli hotelu, w kilka miesi\u0119cy uda\u0142o si\u0119 odbudowa\u0107 i ponownie udost\u0119pni\u0107 obiekt. Zrekonstruowano dach, przywr\u00f3cono dawny wygl\u0105d zabytkowych sal oraz wyremontowano cz\u0119\u015b\u0107 hotelow\u0105. Zwie\u0144czeniem odbudowy by\u0142a rekonstrukcja pa\u0142acowej wie\u017cy jesieni\u0105 2017 r.<\/p>

W 2012 r. Pa\u0142ac zyska\u0142 nowy obiekt \u2013 sal\u0119 konferencyjno-bankietow\u0105 zwan\u0105 \u201eParkow\u0105\u201d o powierzchni 400 m2.
